Accept no substitutes – genuine Sonicare stuff! Wish I knew how amazing these were 20 years ago, as they would have changed my life and saved Thousand$ in dental work. Replacing my brush heads “as recommended by the LEDs” gives me a high-quality brushing session and keeps the ol’ chompers smooth and plaque-free. They fit the brush like a glove and do not rattle. They are blister packed (my golden standard for quality on Amazon) so they aren’t some janky repacked units. Would — and will — buy again.

I saw the reviews claiming there were knock-offs being sold but I decided I’d try anyways. I’m happy to report that if these are in fact knock-offs (which I don’t believe they are) , then they are really good ones. Feels and brushes exactly like the brush head my Philips tooth brush came with new, no extra rattling or bristles falling off as others have said. Perhaps there was a bad batch sent out, but it all seems to be good now anyways. I’m glad I found these online, the local stores never seem to have them where I live. Very glad I took the chance.

I was a bit concerned about some of the negative reviews but so far, so good on my first brush head. My Wife is using the one that came with the new ProtectiveClean toothbrush and I am using one from this 3 pack. I have over 3 months on mine and have not been signaled to replace yet but it still seems to be cleaning my teeth OK. My Dental tech just cleaned my teeth about a week ago and said everything looked great and there was little or no plaque or tarter.I especially like the design of this brush head versus the old type we used which always had a tendency to have gunk growing inside the head no matter how much you would rinse it. I do not see any space for gunk to grow or accumulate on this new design.

I HAVE BEEN PURCHASING KNOCK OFFS. 6 PACK OR 12 PACK FOR PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR. I BOUGHT THE REAL SONICARE TOOTHBRUSHES THIS TIME AND I MUST SAY THAT MY TEETH ARE MUCH CLEANER! I DID NOT THINK IT WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE, BOY WAS I WRONG. THESE BRUSHES REALLY DO A SUPERIOR JOB! NEVER BUY THE KNOCK OFF TOOTHBRUSHES AGAIN!!

These are one variety of standard Philips brush heads for their snap-on models. The ad (and the package) make it clear which toothbrushes they work on (basically, every series except PowerUp, Sonicare for Kids, or the older round-base Essence series). Changing the brush head is easy: pop the old one off, remove the plastic cap from the new one, and the new one on. Save the plastic cap to protect the bristles if you travel, and I also recommend wrapping the brush head in a paper towel or tissue. The manufacturer recommends replacing the brush head every 3 months. I personally replace mine every 2 months, but it’s a matter of preference.I highly recommend getting the Sonicare brush heads as made by Philips and NOT getting the generic, (i.e. “compatible with”) ones. The bristles on the generics are generally much harder/stiffer, and they can cause damage to gums and excessive wear to enamel. They also tend to wear out after about 6 weeks, or half the time the ones from Philips do. The ADA recommends brushes with bristles rated “soft” and will certify same. As far as I know, none of the generic brush heads have earned that rating. In other words, the generic brush heads are damaging your gums and teeth, and you have to replace them twice as often. There are several types of brush heads, including a variety with even softer bristles for those with sensitive gums and teeth. You might consult with your dentist and/or dental hygienist regarding which type is best for you.

Bought these to scrub Yukon Gold potatoes. I don’t eat Yukon Gold potatoes often, mostly because I am not a fan of the flavor or consistency, but when I do eat them, I want them to be clean. I found that running Yukon Gold potatoes under the tap and manually washing the dirt off by hand to be too cumbersome, so I knew that I needed a better way to do this. I first tried a manual angle-grinder, but this took away far too much of the skin and actual potato, so that was not a good option. I then tired a Briggs & Stratton pressure washer, but this shot my Yukon Potatoes clear across the kitchen and made one heck of a mess on my freshly refinished hardwood floors. Finally, it dawned on me that I could use the same electric toothbrush that I use to scrub my toilet to get the dirt off. I first tried the same brush head that I used for my toilet, but this was far to gentle on the Yukon Gold potatoes, leaving way too much dirt on their skin. After doing some research, I saw that these heads “remove more plaque”, so I gave them a try and they worked like a charm. All that being said, I have no idea how these things actually work on teeth, but they sure do a great job on my disgusting Yukon Gold potatoes!!!

I only have one big complaint about these heads – the package clearly holds 4 heads, but only 3 are included. I’m sure somebody did some cost analysis somewhere but come on, they should sell a 4-head version.Otherwise these heads are perfect. The bristles are just the right hardness to knock off plaque without hurting my gums. They’re just the right shape and size to get into all the spaced between my teeth. My only complaint is that it would be nice if the back had a tongue scraper for that extra defense against bad breath, but a quick brush of my tongue takes are of the bulk of the work, and I imagine some people wouldn’t like the scraper against their cheeks. So I’m okay with the heads how they are.Used daily, my mouth is the cleanest it’s been in my life. During the year of Covid being able to go longer before my next regular cleaning is a blessing. The replacement reminder is also nice – I’ve had one change so far, and it went perfectly well. Use the old head to clean off the crack between the head and body, as well as the base, snap the new one on, and you’re good for your next 3 months. Recommended.

Bought a pack of “compatible” brush heads but unable to provide a review as the product is no longer listed on Amazon. Thought I’d drop a note here to share my experience. The off-brand did not provide the same cleaning action as the Phillips genuine Sonicare brush head. After three months using the off-brand brush head my gingivitis started to come back. When I replaced it with a genuine Phillips bruch head it was a night and day difference. I could feel the bristles getting down along my gum line and between teeth. Never thought it would make as much difference, but I should have known. As an engineer I’d guess that the material used in the off-brands’ bristles and stem are of different density and stiffness properties that do not transmit the sonic cleaning action like the real thing. Just my two cents about my experience. Maybe save someone from wasting money of an inferior off-brand.

My Philips Sonicare toothbrush is the best purchase I ever made. With these toothbrush heads I always feel I have a new toothbrush. The codes on here are for Whitening or Gums or Tartar control – there’s a brush for every need. I use soft whitening, but I also use one for gums when they get irritated. I’ve used this brush for 8 years & couldnt be happier. Don’t know why you can’t find them in stores anymore. I won’t substitute generic ones because cheaper fakes do Not last long. I just wish they came in 6 packs!
