This thing provides a tooth-brushing experience unlike other tooth brushes. The improvement of an electric over a standard is significant and the difference between an ordinary electric brush and this is just as great. It’s MUCH better than a standard electric brush. I feel like I’ve just had a professional cleaning. My husband initially picked this up on sale and was so pleased with it he made me try it. I was sold in one brushing. It times brushing for you which is nice (though I don’t use the app). Thus far I’m not convinced of any meaningful difference between the heads, though, they all seem to provide essentially the same cleaning.Essentially, the overall effect is great (works spectacularly well on tartar!) – but does seem to come with a lot of “options” and “features” that are redundant or meaningless – but if all the options provide the same great clean, that works. One other note: it starts off on a “gentle” setting so one can acclimate to the powerful scrubbing. I found the chin vibration to be sort of tickly, but otherwise had no problem adjusting. If it seems like it’s not working like magic when it first arrives, make sure it’s turned up.

My last Sonicare toothbrush died in the same way my previous one did and I think it’s because I push too hard when I brush. My husband found me this one that senses too much pressure. It has an app that guides you when you brush, keeps track of when you brush and actually tells you how you’re doing! You can track flossing & cleaning your tongue too. It’s pretty darn cool! I only used it last night but can already tell this is my favorite Sonicare toothbrush ever! I’m expecting to not break this one since it warbles, lights up and tells you on the app when you’re pushing too hard which is just what I needed and my teeth are so clean. You can even set it up to automatically order brush heads when it’s time. Super slick & gorgeous. I love the charging glass too!

    Replaced my old Sonicare toothbrush

Philips Sonicare HX6733/90 HealthyWhite 3 Mode Platinum Edition Rechargeable Toothbrush 2-Pack Bundle (2 Power Toothbrushes, 2 DiamondClean Brush Heads, 1 UV Sanitizer with Integrated Charger, 1 Travel charger, 2 Travel cases)

My old sonicare held up well and actually still works well, but it felt like time for an upgrade and i was excited to try this with the app!+App is fantastic! vert insightful and guides you through spots your missing. Also warns you when you push too hard or move to vigorously.+App tracks your brushing, flossing, rinsing and lets you know when it’s time to replace the head+Sleek design! This thing is really beautiful compared to my old toothbrush set+Love the cup charger station setup and the nice leather travel case.+Works great. My mouth feels clean and fresh. I can’t wait to brush my teeth every day with this thing!-No negatives so far!

I waited a month to review this. I don’t use the app, so I can’t comment on that. I stepped up from another Sonicaire brush. This has adjustable intensity and multiple programs. I tend to use the base setting at the highest intensity, and it works great. With the last brush, I made my gums bleed on a regular basis. This one lets you know when you’re using too much pressure. My gums never bleed, and my teeth feel cleaner. Most importantly, it’s easy to keep clean. Those older brushes trapped gunk. This doesn’t. It’s a lot on money for a toothbrush, but dentists are no fun…. If you can afford it, you wont regret it.

Honestly, I cannot say enough about this toothbrush. I love the glass charging cup plus the ability to change both the modes and intensity of vibration while brushing. I DO NOT use the app (too much big brother tech out there, nor do I believe in Fakebook) so the bad reviews about those issues are not applicable to me. I simply brush my teeth old school style lol. Using my cell phone to track my toothbrush is ridiculous!!! That being said, if you are looking for a high end quality toothbrush to SIMPLY clean your teeth better, this is the one for you!!! Stay away from the app and just brush your teeth. Don’t rely on tech to tell you how or when to change your brush heads either!!! Each brush head shows at the tip when it’s time to change it…period.

I am and never was one for spending a lot of money on something as stupid as a toothbrush. But I just got this toothbrush and OMG!!! I don’t think my teeth EVER have been this clean EVER!!! Again, I’m a tough one to convince when it come to buying things like this. But damn, I’m so glad I did. It makes me made that I went 37 years without this toothbrush! Every last stain my dentist said was permanent and too deep to come out, ALL CAME OUT!!! FIRST TRY!!! I used the Crest two Step detoxifying and whiting toothpaste along with this toothbrush. NAILED IT!!!!

  7. Fred

Very nice product despite it having some gimmicky features. Excellent clean and easy to use; that being said, it has way too many different modes and an unnecessary light on the bottom of it. Accessories are readily available for reasonable prices and the charging system is very good. I cannot tell the difference between the modes and will never use them. However, the 3 speed control is very nice and easy to use. Philips nailed this toothbrush out of the park so I will not deduct any stars for all the extra “features”. Unless you are upgrading from some ultra-premium electric toothbrush, you will be running your tongue along your teeth for hours after each brushing admiring how clean they are.Update: about exactly 7 months after ordering mine stopped working. Called Philips late on a Monday and got a replacement on Thursday! Great customer service, was only a few minutes of hold time and they kept me informed of the replacement status via email the whole time.

Even though I’d only had this for a few weeks after replacing a cheap electric toothbrush, I am absolutely floored by the quality. My dentist was HAPPY with my teeth for literally the first time since I’ve been seeing him. I have a very tightly packed mouth that is really hard to brush thoroughly. Dentist didn’t even have to get out the power toothbrush for more than a few back molars. The charging cup looks beautiful in the bathroom. A major investment purchase, but cheaper than deep cleanings or fillings under nitrous oxide!

Worth every penny! After my last Sonicare Diamondcare toothbrush base stopped working and I couldn’t find the box with the receipt because I am in the middle of moving I decided to just replace it for now and if I find the paperwork use the warrantied one as a backup or give it away. I looked to Amazon and discovered that Philips had come out with some pretty cool new technology for the toothbrush. The Bluetooth enabled handle and brush head that interact with an app looked pretty awesome and while they were a bit more expensive than just replacing my previous toothbrush in kind, this one came with 8 brush heads which helped to make up the cost difference to me.The very first day I got it I could tell it was more than just your average toothbrush. The packaging itself was luxurious and nothing like the boxed of the past. The toothbrush arrived ready to use for the first time, no need to charge, you can do that after. And that first clean is a doozy! Make sure you are prepared to have your mind blown. The intensity is amazing and after my teeth were as smooth and brilliant as when I step foot out of my dentist chair. The price tag may be a little bigger than most would want to pay but it is well worth it to have such clean teeth .

I’ve had this since 2017 and love it. The buttons are just now starting to get so they don’t press as easily, so I’m considering a replacement soon, but the 4 years was worth it, in my opinion (and my dentist’s; I’m no longer being told I don’t brush well enough).I do have to kind of hold my mouth open and lean over the sink while I brush, otherwise I start gagging from bubbles or whatever because I have a really bag gag reflex (and I use a non-foaming toothpaste), so the toothpaste/hard water running down the handle of the brush is part of why the buttons are starting to go. I do wipe it down after every use, and occasionally take a q-tip with vinegar around the buttons to try to dissolve some of the minerals. My mom says what she does is keep her mouth closed, but pause the brush mid cycle to spit. Just a comment, since I’ve seen reviews complaining about it being hard to brush because you can’t take the brush out of your mouth while it’s on (and don’t forget to put it in your mouth before turning it on, or you’ll have toothpaste everywhere!)The battery usually lasts me about 2 weeks or so, and is still going strong 4 years later. Even my husband’s battery is doing well, and it occasionally goes months without use (draining naturally) when he’s deployed. I would suggest getting a version with the charging case though, and if I replace mine, that’s what I intend to do. We went on a short trip once where I didn’t bring the charger, but the flight was bumpy enough I guess the toothbrush thought it was being picked up so the lights were coming on or something…not entirely sure, but it was fully charged when we left and completely dead when we landed. Luckily my husband had the charging case. It takes forever to do a full charge, but it works well in a pinch. I really like the charging glass it comes with though, it’s a nice looking toothbrush holder and fits nicely on our mirror.I actually haven’t really used the Bluetooth part much, because the phone I had when I got it wasn’t compatible and I forgot about it when I got the new phone. I do remember using it with my tablet some at the beginning though, and it had some cool features, was just inconvenient on the tablet. But if you aren’t going to use the Bluetooth, there may be some cheaper models that would be more worthwhile.
